Jade and Tom This was a wedding with all the right touches and organised in a short period of time, with the help of their beautiful son. Photos were taken by Nick Bryant photographer and perfectly capture the relaxed and romantic nature of Jade and Tom’s wedding day.
Carl and Chloe had a beautiful winter wedding at the Belle Epoque which was captured perfectly by one of the North Wests greatest photographers Cassandra Lane. The quirky and romantic nature of our wedding venue leant itself to a boutique and intimate wedding right in the heart of Knutsford, Cheshire.
Lyn Parker and John Davis With many thanks to the very talented Big Picture Wedding Videography along with I Kon studios for sending us these still pictures of the very lovely Lyn and John who got married her on Saturday 2nd July 2016.
Lyn and John were such a relaxed and laid back couple who were clearly very busy behind the scenes putting all the finer details together which resulted in a stunning wedding for both them and us as a venue. Our personal favourite touches were the unique table plan which the bride and groom designed and put together using a variety of Gin bottles (which very disappointingly were already empty)!! The evening party was provided by the Supernovas band who got the evening going with lots of people on the dancefloor.
The very relaxed nature of Lyn and John ensured a wonderful day for all was had.
This lovely couple held their big day with us at the Belle Epoque on 22nd May and what a fab day it was. The very relaxed couple made everything so easy in the run up to the wedding. Alongside planning a wedding in a short period of time they have 2 small children and then got a new puppy – was a good job they were so laid back. These stunning photos were taken by one of the best photographers Bomknights Photography who we would like to thank for allowing us to share them.
John and Rhian got married here at the Belle Epoque on 7th November 2015 and what a lovely day it was.
These stunning photos are from the exceptionally talented Cassandra Lane and really capture the day perfectly. The bride and groom chose a naked cake from Marie Antoinette which looks almost too good to eat…. almost!!
A lovely day had by all.
One visit from Harry Styles and the world Goes Mad!
This polite chap came into the Rose ‘N Crown Chophouse two weeks ago for a cup of peppermint tea with his friends. Being the polite young man he is, he poses for pictures with staff and then leaves having charmed customers and staff.
Now at 49, teenage culture is a little alien to me……….but did I learn quickly. I posted a couple of pictures on are on the twitter feed of the Belle Epoque mentioning the visit from Harry Styles to the Rose ‘N Crown. First our telephone was ringing off the hook, then our social media when completely berserk. 500 retweets in an hour!
Then from berserk, our accounts went into meltdown as 1D’ers, connected that we were a wedding venue and that Harry was obviously viewing the venue for himself before going for a drink next door. My phone was useless for the next five days as so many retweets and likes were being posted I couldn’t use it for anything else. It then went viral……..
Articles to date have appeared in The Knutsford Guardian, the Manchester Evening News, The Daily Mail, The Daily Mirror, The Times of India, Heat Magazine, plus a gazillion online articles and fan forums.
It is still being retweeted now several weeks later, over both accounts over 10k retweets and the same again in likes.
So Harry, we salute you sir and next time the peppermint tea is on us……
Last Saturday 5th March saw a lovely couple, Emma and Nigel get married here at the Belle Epoque… With Emma having thought of everything and being super organised it meant that no detail was missed and the venue looked stunning, not to mention the happy couple of course who both looked stunning. A lovely day took place and there ensued a great evening party where fun was had by all.
Top North West Photographer Jonny Draper held a photographers workshop here to showcase just how amazing the photography could be in such a quirky venue as ours.
Here is what Jonny had to say;
“32 photographers over 4 different workshops across 2 nights at a stunning wedding venue. Hugely humbled that each time I released details of each workshop, it sold out in less than 24 hours. Wow. A MASSIVE thanks must go to Belle Epoque for opening the doors to their amazing venue and giving me the opportunity to show that things aren’t as scary as they seem in a beautiful low-lit, atmospheric venue like theirs”.
Mrs H here…. Just wanted to say a massive thank you to you and all the amazing staff at the Belle Époque! It really was an amazing day and the professional, welcoming staff made it extra special. John and our South African friend were just amazing. Can you also thank the kitchen staff as the food was amazing! All our guests were saying how beautiful it was. Also the waiters & waitresses and bar staff! I can’t thank you enough!!!
